Can I integrate ОSE Pro with my site anytime?

If you are creating a website from scratch, it is better to think in advance whether you want to use OSE Pro on it. At the initial stage of development, it is easier and cost-effective.

You provide your clients (site owners) and their staff with access to only the specific website pages and modules they need to edit.

Can I use OSE Pro on all site plans?

Yes. OSE Pro is enabled as an extension so is available to any of your sites that you wish to install it on (from WebinOne Portal) and can be used on any site plan.

Does OSE Pro cost extra?

During the BETA period, OSE Pro is free to use and try out for your sites and clients.

After the BETA period ends, the extension will become a paid solution (price yet to be confirmed).

Does using OSE Pro affect the speed and performance of your site?

Unlike other platforms, On-Site Editor Pro is built-in on a backend level and does not affect performance and load speed in any way.

I already have OSE (formerly nICE) on my site, why do I need OSE Pro?

OSE Pro is ideal for greater editing control of dynamic site content without the overwhelm of the admin interface. It also allows much more control over what content can be edited, how it can be edited, and who can edit it.

The standard OSE has simplified editing capabilities and is ideal for very basic text block editing of page content and other static site content.

What is meant by BETA?

BETA refers to an early version of a product feature. Therefore, OSE Pro is currently in final development phase where functionality may be slightly updated or added during the BETA testing and review period.

By using the BETA version, and providing your feedback, you are helping to enhance the feature and therefore benefit from its further development later on

  • What is On-Site Editor

    On-Site Editor (OSE) is WebinOne's visual front-end editing tool that lets agencies and their non-technical clients edit website content directly on the live page with live preview. Users click on any editable element - text, images, buttons, sections - and modify it in place without opening the admin panel.

    OSE Pro (currently in beta) extends this with component-level editing, drag-and-drop section reordering, and inline style controls. It bridges the gap between developer-built templates and client self-service content management.

  • How On-Site Editor works with WebinOne

    Developers define editable regions in Liquid templates using data attributes. Clients access OSE through a toolbar overlay on the live site after logging into their admin account. Changes publish instantly or save as drafts depending on workflow settings.

    Unlike page builders that generate bloated markup, OSE preserves the clean HTML/CSS structure developers created. Content editors get visual control without breaking the design system or requiring developer intervention for routine updates.
